With no formal training from the powerhouse schools (Yale, Columbia, Carnegie Mellon, Julliard, Tisch, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, ACTS, Northwestern, Brown, UCLA, and any others we can type in here to optimize her site for search engines), she did rigorously study on her own and at Rochester NY's Writer's and Books. She continues to take classes, read, study and work at the craft.
Lori is currently a playwright-in-resident at MuCCC Theatre in Rochester, NY.
She has also had several of her plays read and produced throughout the United States.
In 2007. the Spokane Civic Theatre produced Lori's one act play, No Smoking. That same year, the play also received a reading at Rochester's Shipping Dock Theatre.
In 2010, Lori won the #Geva Regional Playwrights Competition for her play titled Mystic Castle, a drama about serial killer Arthur #Shawcross.
Her works have appeared in many festivals including most recently the Rochester Fringe Festival.
Lori has studied in workshops given by Jeffrey Sweet, Lynn Nottage, and Terrence McNally.
